Price Brothers is now producing and shipping fabricated carbon-steel and stainless-steel pipe components in pipe sizes up to 156-inch diameter for a wide range of above-ground applications.

In fact, Price Brothers Company has always been capable of making excellent steel pipe components, as demonstrated by the many thousands of large steel shells fabricated to produce the matching elbows, tees, crosses and other fittings to accompany our C-301 Prestressed Concrete Cylinder Pipe.

Our decision to enter the fabricated steel pipe business, at this time, is a response to the growing need our customers have expressed for an experienced, full-service engineering, design and manufacturing source.

Stainless Can Be a Bargain
Widely used in Europe to reduce long-term maintenance costs for above-ground piping systems, stainless steel is particularly suited for such corrosive environments as the treatment plants for water and wastewater. Although the initial investment for stainless steel pipe is somewhat higher, the long-term cost benefits can be substantial.

Stainless may also be the best choice for new ozone-based water purification systems, for hard-to-reach aerial pipelines, and for all types of chemical process pipelines.

In addition to fabricated carbon-steel and stainless-steel pipe components in pipe sizes up to 156-inch diameter, we provide a wide range of pipe coatings and linings, four different joint styles and AWS and ASME certified welding.

After six decades of providing our customers with fully engineered and custom-designed concrete pressure pipe and fittings, Price Brothers is now doing the same for those who need steel pipe and fittings to meet their exact needs.

An essential role for our engineers is to consult on the project’s initial design -- where our experience may save considerable cost in materials, time and related costs. For example, we're ready to help plan and lay out any steel pipe project to minimize in-the-field problems. All our projects include our detailed and accurate layout assembly drawings to minimize site work confusion, installation time, and the need for additional documentation.

With the most extensive field service organization in the U.S. water pipe business, Price Brothers Company backs each project with regular job site visits to help with installation and technical issues and to monitor progress.
