Fabricated Piping Systems
Price Brothers Company has recently extended its engineering and manufacturing capabilities for fabricated carbon steel and stainless steel pipe and components. The fabrication process begins by rolling sheets of carbon steel or stainless steel to the specified diameter, and then longitudinally welding the seam to form the pipe cylinder. For curved pipe segments, the cylinder is cut into mitred sections (above), which are separated and then re-combined to form a bend of the specified angle

Quality and Engineering
Our U.S. plants have NSF approval and are annually certified by Lloyd’s Registry for compliance with AWWA Standards. We are members of the American Concrete Pressure Pipe Association and the Steel Plate Fabricators Association. Our U.S. staff includes over 25 engineers who are supported by custom-designed, computer-based layout and design programs. Our product quality is assured by independent quality assurance staff at each plant that reports directly to the senior management of the company to ensure compliance with established quality standards.

Stainless Steel
Stainless steel piping has been extensively used in Europe to eliminate long-term maintenance costs for above ground piping in corrosive environments often associated with the conditions inside water and wastewater treatment plants. While the initial costs are higher, the long-term benefits can be substantial. Stainless steel is also used for aerial pipe that is not easily accessible for maintenance. Stainless steel is frequently required with new ozone based systems for water purification.
Design Services
Each project is designed by our engineering staff to minimize field installation costs. All projects will include detailed and accurate layout assembly drawings for ease of site work.

Price Brothers Company has the most extensive field service organization in the U.S. water pipe market sector. Our field service representatives, with almost 200 years of combined field experience, regularly visit job sites to assist contractors and owners with installation and technical issues
